Grad Resources - “Grad Resources seeks to address the total needs (practical, personal and spiritual) of graduate students. Grad students, who number 2 million in the United States alone, are an often neglected sector of the public in terms of service organizations and resources. These graduate students, however, represent America's future since many go on to become our nation's leaders and professors.”

Grad Resources offers: Crisis line (f you are a grad student in crisis, please call the Crisis Line right away...1-877-GRAD-HLP.); E-mentors, Resources (seminars and special events), and helpful Articles.

NAGPS - "NAGPS has a threefold mission for the graduate and professional student community in the United States of America: (1) develop and sustain a member network to connect graduate and professional students and their associations, (2) provide resources and support to empower members, and (3) advocate at local and national levels on their behalf."

The National Association of Graduate-Professional Students is a cooperative national student organization serving the interests of

  • graduate- and/or professional-degree students,
  • their student organizations, and
  • their graduate schools.

NAGPS is THE voice of graduate and professional students in the United States. It is the only national organization dedicated to representing both graduate and professional student concerns. NAGPS works to bring graduate and professional students together to assist them in self-governance, and to represent their interests to both the public and the state and federal government. Many of NAGPS goals are structural in nature, such as:

  1. building a library of documents on issues related to graduate education;
  2. offering low-cost health insurance to graduate and professional students;
  3. representing hundreds of thousands of graduate and professional student members;
  4. hosting regional and national conferences to discuss dozens of topics related to postbaccalaureate education;
  5. providing technical assistance to students interested in forming campus graduate student organizations; and,
  6. developing services for graduate and professional students.
