The Association for Support of Graduate Students (ASGS), publishers of Thesis News and its predecessor, Dissertation News, maintains a directory of professional consultants to graduate students who are working on their doctoral and master's theses. The directory lists the services, qualifications and rates of these consultants. At present, there is no cost to the professionals added to the database, although a fee for inclusion may be made at some time in the future.
ASGS intends that this directory will become THE LISTING nationwide for qualified persons to help students with production of their theses.
We present our database to graduate students by publishing it from time to time in the ASGS reference bulletin Thesis News. The list continuously appears on our Web page (http://www.asgs.org/). We receive frequent calls from students asking us for specific references, which we are able to provide from the directory. The directory may also be published separately in book form. If the information is published in book form it may be sold to graduate students and their institutions. There could also be a charge in the future for access to the information presented online.
If you are a professional assistant and interested in being included, please fill in the information requested in the questionnaire below, and return it by e-mail to us. ASGS will include your listing if your qualifications appear appropriate, and will maintain your name in the database as long as there are no negative reports on your services. If we receive two negative reports, we will investigate, and if we receive three, we will remove your name from the database.
Thank you in advance for your assistance in making this directory database an important service to graduate students everywhere. Note: This form can be printed out for completion off-line. See instructions below.
